I, Dr Amina Ahmed am a happy, conscientious, and hardworking doctor who thoroughly enjoys her jobs, as a General Practitioner, Medico-legal expert and School Governor. This is reflected in my relationship with both colleagues and patients. I am approachable with exceptional English and multilingual communication skills.

I graduated from Leicester University in 2001 and my background prior to General Family Medicine was Accident and Emergency medicine, where I worked for two and a half years.  Working in this speciality moulded my skills in diagnosis and management of the musculoskeletal and psychological sequelae to trauma and motor vehicle accidents.  It was also during my stint in Accident and emergency that I first started preparing reports as a professional witness.

Since 2013 I have been preparing Medico-legal reports for the courts with my clinics across England.

I regularly attend medico-legal courses and meetings to enhance my clinical skills. I am actively participating in the MedCo CPD training program too. I have achieved my GDPR training. My consultation and examination techniques are quite thorough, and the medical reports produced are on high standards.

Appointment booking procedure:

All of my consulting rooms are private, fixed and suitable for medico-legal consultations. To reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 virus, I am offering remote consultation appointments to clients. I can offer video appointments through WhatsApp, FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, Google or through any other secure platform as per the client’s needs. I can offer weekend or evening appointments in some of my venues too. I am following the Government guidelines and will start face to face appointments when it is safe to do so.

Special Needs

Most of my consulting locations have disabled access and have parking facilities. I always want the best customer services experience for my clients. If you need any special assistance for your appointment, please do let my secretary know about this at the time of arranging the appointment.

Turnaround time:

I do offer evening and weekend appointments. For the remote appointments, the waiting time is 3 days. On the normal circumstances, for the face-to-face appointment, the waiting time is between 1 to 3 weeks. Medical reports and any amendments are submitted within 3 – 5 days. Any other queries will be responded within 24 hours of receipt.

I strictly adhere to all the procedures and policies set by MedCo and always follow GMC good medical practice guidelines for examining my clients.
