I, Dr Mohammed Noaman, graduated in 2007 from Anbar University, School of Medicine. I pursued further training in General Practice/Family Medicine, obtaining my MRCGP from the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK) and CCFP from the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Additionally, I completed a PGDip and MSc in Dermatology (Distinction) from the University of South Wales.

My early medical career provided extensive experience across multiple specialties, including Accident & Emergency, Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedics, Critical Care. Working in these high-pressure environments helped me develop strong clinical decision-making skills, proficiency in managing acute and trauma cases, and expertise in minor surgical procedures.

I currently practice as a General Practitioner in both NHS and private healthcare settings, managing acute and chronic medical conditions with a patient-centred approach. In addition to my clinical role, I serve as the International Lead for the Royal College of General Practitioners (Vale of Trent Faculty Board), where I develop programs for international medical graduates and lead global healthcare initiatives.

My medico-legal expertise includes conducting personal injury assessments and disability evaluations, ensuring that reports meet the highest professional standards and MedCo guidelines. I am MedCo accredited and regularly provide comprehensive medico-legal reports. Since 2022, I have been writing, peer reviewing, and overseeing the quality of medico-legal reports related to the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme (VDPS), including tribunal cases, ensuring that all reports are thorough, evidence-based, and meet the required legal and medical standards. Additionally, I have been performing disability assessments and providing expert medical opinions with the Veteran Evaluation Service (VES), contributing to the evaluation of veterans’ claims with detailed and objective medical reporting.

I keep myself up to date with the advances in General Practice as well as the changes implemented by MedCo and I am up to date with my CME requirements.

I aim to provide good quality, authoritative medical reports which avoid or explain medical jargons. Every report includes a cogent opinion and prognosis section to assist the legal analysis of the case. I am conversant with the Civil Procedure Rules and recent MoJ reforms and their impact on medico-legal reporting.

Appointment booking procedure:

All of my consulting rooms are private, fixed and suitable for medico-legal consultations. To reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 virus, I can offer a remote consultation appointment to the COVID vulnerable clients as per MedCo guidelines. I can offer weekend or evening appointments in some of my venues too. I am following the Government and MedCo guidelines when offering face to face appointments.

Special Needs

All of my consulting locations have disabled access and have parking facilities. I always want the best customer services experience for my clients. If you need any special assistance for your appointment, please do let my secretary know about this at the time of arranging the appointment.

Turnaround time:

I do offer evening appointments. For the remote appointments, the waiting time is 3 days. On the normal circumstances, for the face-to-face appointment, the waiting time is between 1 to 2 weeks. Medical reports and any amendments are submitted within 3 days. Any other queries will be responded within 48 hours of receipt.

I strictly adhere to all the procedures and policies set by MedCo and always follow GMC good medical practice guidelines for examining my clients.
