I, Dr Syed Nawaz Ali am working as a Locum GP since April 2017. I am an enthusiastic, organised and dedicated doctor with excellent skills in communication and team working which allow me to deliver high standards of patient-centred care. I thrive under pressure and am quick to grasp new ideas and concepts. I have developed proficient time management skills within the framework of GP consultation without compromising my ability to make patients feel listened to and valued, delivering sensitive information in a compassionate, professional and discrete manner.

I am passionate about the care provided to patients and their families and pride myself on strong interpersonal skills that allow me to be candid, sensitive, kind and professional. My career aim is to work as a portfolio General Practitioner with a special interest in medicolegal medicine. I regularly attend practice meetings which make considerable difference to improve the quality of care to the patients and help me gaining further experience in the clinical as well as non-clinical scenarios.

I have been working as an independent medico legal expert since 2015. I have very good understanding to perform clinical examination for the clients affecting from whiplash and soft tissue injuries. Being a GP, I see patients effecting from musculoskeletal and general psychiatric problems, this experience helps me when I see the clients in the medico-legal setting. I am undertaking MedCo CPD program to keep up-to-date myself with the industry. I have necessary training and CPD to keep my practice evidence based and up to date. I have a robust team which helps clients through their journey of personal injury claims. My team has necessary training to help clients during their journey and can address their questions. I am also available for discussion should any questions need more detailed clarification.

I regularly attend medico-legal e-learning courses and meetings to enhance my clinical skills. I am actively participating in the MedCo CPD training program. I take the Data protection of the patients very seriously and I am always up to date with ICO membership as a prerequisite. My consultation and examination techniques are quite thorough, and the medical reports produced are of high standards.

I keep myself up to date with the advancement in General Practice as well as the changes implemented by MedCo and I am up to date with my CME requirements.
