I, Dr Hena Rahman, graduated from Punjab University, Lahore, School of Medicine in 1986. I have obtained my full registration with GMC in 2007 I have been doing medico-legal reports since year 2000, previously in Republic of Ireland and doing in England from past 12 years. I have vast experience in attending the tribunals to assist with medico-legal cases. I have been doing non MedCo work until March 2020. Then I had acquired my MedCo Mandatory Accredited training in March 2020.

I have experience in doing medico-legal reports for the clients experiencing musculoskeletal issues, direct trauma, whiplash, soft tissue injuries, bony injuries, complex medical serious issues, as the result of any personal incident. I have studied the relevant literature and experienced on Delta V and Low velocity issues and how to format that in the medico-legal reports. I have also completed my GDPR training as part of my Hospital training and MedCo CPDs.

I follow the COVID-19 safety guidelines when seeing the clients. I always follow best practice and acceptable standards guidelines as set by MedCo for my consulting venues.

I regularly attend medico-legal courses and meetings to enhance my clinical skills. I am actively participating in the MedCo CPD training program too. I have recently completed GDPR training. I am an experienced medico-legal practitioner and prefer to use Court Compliant software.

Appointment booking procedure:

All of my consulting rooms are private, fixed and suitable for medico-legal consultations. To reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 virus, I am offering remote consultation appointments to clients. I can offer video appointments through WhatsApp, FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, Google or through any other secure platform as per the client’s needs. I can offer weekend or evening appointments in some of my venues too. I am following the Government guidelines and will start face to face appointments when it is safe to do so.

Special Needs

All of my consulting locations have disabled access and have parking facilities. I always want the best customer services experience for my clients. If you need any special assistance for your appointment, please do let my secretary know about this at the time of arranging the appointment.

Turnaround time:

I do offer evening appointments. For the remote appointments, the waiting time is 3 days. On the normal circumstances, for the face-to-face appointment, the waiting time is between 1 to 2 weeks. Medical reports and any amendments are submitted within 3 days. Any other queries will be responded within 48 hours of receipt.

I strictly adhere to all the procedures and policies set by MedCo and always follow GMC good medical practice guidelines for examining my clients.
