I, Dr Kashif Shakeel am I graduated from Sindh Medical College (now Jinnah Sindh Medical University), Karachi in 2002. I have an extensive experience in different medical specialities including Emergency medicine, General Practice, Psychiatry, Medicine, and Surgery. I did my training in General Practice. I am currently working with Go To Doc (GTD) Healthcare, who provides Primary care, urgent care and dental care. This is a unique role within the hospital requiring multiple skills and an intensive knowledge for this field, I work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver urgent medical care in a range of ways, including telephone advice, face-to-face treatment, home care, walk-in centres in the community, emergency department support and ambulance service support. We also run a 24/7 clinical and non-clinical care co-ordination centre and call-handling service and provide specialist medical and healthcare support services, which include supporting intermediate care services, running referral triages, gateways, and an acute visiting scheme.

I have completed my MedCo training in 2016 and since then I have been seeing medico-legal clients on the regular basis. I follow the COVID-19 safety guidelines when seeing the clients. I always follow best practice and acceptable standards guidelines as set by MedCo for my consulting venues. Furthermore, I have an extensive experience of writing medico-legal reports for soft tissue injuries, sprains, and injuries due to road traffic accidents. Currently, in my capacity as independent medico-legal expert I provide medico-legal reports on a regular basis. My extensive experience in different medical specialities, help me to understand the physical, psychological, and financial impact of injuries on client and it help me to evaluate my client’s injuries and provide prognosis. I am also able to comment on low velocity impact (LVI) incidents as I have studied the relevant literature and understand the concept of Delta V. Since 2016, I have dealt with slip and trips, accident-related injuries at work, injuries during holidays, injuries at work, injuries at public places etc. I am registered with majority of Tier 1and tier 2 Medco Operational MROs and dealing their clients on regular basis. I provide consultation at various locations includes Greater Manchester, North Wales, Coventry, Mansfield, Newark and Scarborough. All my venues are in compliance with MEDCO standards. Under the current COVID-19 circumstances, for the safety of everyone and following Government and MedCo guidelines, I am offering remote video appointments for my medico-legal clients.

Appointment booking procedure:

All of my consulting rooms are private, fixed and suitable for medico-legal consultations. To reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 virus, I am offering remote consultation appointments to clients. I can offer video appointments through WhatsApp, FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, Google or through any other secure platform as per the client’s needs. I can offer weekend or evening appointments in some of my venues too. I am following the Government guidelines and will start face to face appointments when it is safe to do so.

Special Needs

All of my consulting locations have disabled access and have parking facilities. I always want the best customer services experience for my clients. If you need any special assistance for your appointment, please do let my secretary know about this at the time of arranging the appointment.

Turnaround time:

I do offer evening appointments. For the remote appointments, the waiting time is 3 days. On the normal circumstances, for the face-to-face appointment, the waiting time is between 1 to 2 weeks. Medical reports and any amendments are submitted within 3 days. Any other queries will be responded within 48 hours of receipt.
