I, Dr Tehseen Fatima graduated in 2005 from Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan. I have completed my clinical attachment in 2006 and worked as house officer until 2007. I have been working in different medicine specialities though out my career including respiratory medicine, diabetes, acute medicine, Accident & Emergency, Psychiatry, Rheumatology and Elderly Care.

Currently I am working as a General Practitioner at Green Wrythe Surgery. The surgery covers population of 10000 patients. Duties Involve: On-calls, telephonic conversation, home visit, clinical and non-clinical meetings with DN/HV/Palliative care nurses, involve in Qof and audits. In my day job, I see patients effecting from personal injuries as the result of slip/trip, road traffic accidents, accident at work etc. I perform musckoskeltal examination that involves body movements of neck, back, shoulders, upper and lower limb. This experience helps me when I run my medico-legal clinics.

I have achieved Medco Mandatory Accredited training on 2nd March 2019. Since than I have been seeing clients involved in road accidents, spinal injuries, head injuries, soft tissue and non soft tissue injuries and whiplash injuries and other traumatic and non-traumatic problems on the regular basis. I also have extensive experience of writing medico-legal reports by using dictation services and through software systems like GRIP, WARP, XPort, Corex, SMART and Nephos. I am also able to comment on low velocity impact (LVI) incidents and understand the concept of Delta V. During consultation I take thorough history, perform clinical evaluation and suggest appropriate treatment and prognosis.

All my consulting rooms are private and suitable for medico-legal consultation. I adhere to the COVID-19 safety guidelines when seeing the clients and remain up to date with regards to local Covid-19 restrictions of that area. I always follow professional attire and attitude in my consultations, follow good medical practice guidelines set out by GMC and closely read MedCo news and policies for my consultation standards.

I regularly attend medico-legal e-learning courses and meetings to enhance my clinical skills. I am actively participating in the MedCo CPD training program. I take the Data protection of the patients very seriously and I am always up to date with ICO membership as a prerequisite. My consultation and examination techniques are quite thorough, and the medical reports produced are of high standards.

I keep myself up to date with the advancement in General Practice as well as the changes implemented by MedCo and I am up to date with my CME requirements.

Appointment booking procedure:

All of my consulting rooms are private, fixed and suitable for medico-legal consultations. To reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 virus, I am offering remote consultation appointments to clients. I can offer video appointments through WhatsApp, FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, Google or through any other secure platform as per the client’s needs. I can offer weekend or evening appointments in some of my venues too. I am following the Government guidelines and will start face to face appointments when it is safe to do so.

Special Needs

All of my consulting locations have disabled access and have parking facilities. I always want the best customer services experience for my clients. If you need any special assistance for your appointment, please do let my secretary know about this at the time of arranging the appointment.

Turnaround time:

I do offer evening appointments. For the remote appointments, the waiting time is 3 days. On the normal circumstances, for the face-to-face appointment, the waiting time is between 1 to 2 weeks. Medical reports and any amendments are submitted within 3 days. Any other queries will be responded within 48 hours of receipt.

I strictly adhere to all the procedures and policies set by MedCo and always follow GMC good medical practice guidelines for examining my clients.
