I, Dr Sultan Asad Malik commenced my academic journey in 1989 with a medical degree from Khyber Medical College Peshawar, Pakistan.  I had completed my Basic Surgical Training and obtained my FRCS qualification in Republic of Ireland.  I intended to pursue my professional career in orthopaedic surgery.

To fulfil my aim, I worked in different surgical specialities including Orthopaedics, Accident and Emergency, General Surgery, I availed the opportunities to gain ample clinical and surgical experience in orthopaedic by working in multiple prestigious hospital in Republic of Ireland for 8 years and then moved to the UK to improve further my clinical and surgical skills.

My commitment to lifelong learning and professional development led me to obtain a SICOT Diploma from the International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology.

In addition, I honed my clinical experience and skill with 2 years’ experience in spinal surgery in UK and Republic of Ireland (Trauma and Elective Spine).
