I, Dr Sana Khan am graduated from Universities of Exeter and Plymouth in 2010. After first two years of hospital training with Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, I have worked between 2012 – 2013 as a Senior House Officer Gold Coast Hospital, Australia. Since then, I had been working in General Medicine, A&E, Paediatrics, Obs & Gynae, GP plus post with Sexual Health until 2017. I have completed my GP registrar training and achieved MRCGP in 2018.

Since 2018 I have been working as a Locum GP in many practices around Manchester areas. I have completed my MedCo training in 2019 and since then I have been seeing medico-legal clients on the regular basis. I follow the COVID-19 safety guidelines when seeing the clients. I always follow best practice and acceptable standards guidelines as set by MedCo for my consulting venues.

I regularly attend medico-legal courses and meetings to enhance my clinical skills. I am actively participating in the MedCo CPD training program too. I have also completed my GDPR training. My consultation and examination techniques are quite thorough, and the medical reports produced are on high standards.

On the regular basis I see patients involved in road accidents, spinal injuries, head injuries, soft tissue and whiplash injuries and other traumatic problems. I also have extensive experience of writing medico-legal reports by using dictation services and through software systems like GRIP, WARP, XPort, Corex, SMART and Nephos. I am also able to comment on low velocity impact (LVI) incidents and understand the concept of Delta V.
