I, Dr Aziz-Ul-Islam Anjum graduated in 1985 from Nishtar Medical College Multan, Pakistan. I have achieved my FRCS from Dublin, Ireland in 1996. I am a trained general surgeon with extensive experience in different specialities but have particular interest in Vascular Surgery. I also have vast experience in Endovascular Surgery which will help to build up my practice. I see myself as a Consultant Vascular & General Surgeon in NHS.

I am MedCo approved – as a Direct Medical Expert – to carry out reports for occupants of motor vehicles who have “soft tissue claims”. I have vast experience dealing in whiplash, soft-tissue, direct trauma and LVI cases. I have been doing GP medico-legal reports since 2005 and have completed my MedCo training on 19 February 2017. I am actively participating in MedCo annual CPD program.

On the regular basis I see patients involved in road accidents, spinal injuries, head injuries, soft tissue and whiplash injuries and other traumatic problems. I also have extensive experience of writing medico-legal reports by using dictation services and through software systems like GRIP, WARP, XPort, Corex, SMART and Nephos. I am also able to comment on low velocity impact (LVI) incidents and understand the concept of Delta V.

All of my consulting rooms are private and suitable for medico-legal consultation. I adhere to the COVID-19 safety guidelines when seeing the clients and remain up to date with regards to local Covid-19 restrictions of that area. I am offering remote consultation appointments to the clients. I can offer video appointments through WhatsApp, FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, Google or through any other secure platform as per the client’s needs. I can offer weekends or evening appointments on some of my venues too. I am also offering face to face appointments subject to the Government announcement and local area lockdown policies.

I always follow professional attire and attitude in my consultations, follow good medical practice guidelines set out by GMC and closely read MedCo news and policies for my consultation standards.

I regularly attend medico-legal e-learning courses and meetings to enhance my clinical skills. I am actively participating in the MedCo CPD training program. I take the Data protection of the patients very seriously and I am always up to date with ICO membership as a prerequisite. My consultation and examination techniques are quite thorough, and the medical reports produced are of high standards.
