I, Dr K Irfan Graduated from Fatimah Jinnah Medical University Pakistan in 1998.I have worked extensively in A&E and General Medicine in UK from 2005 to 2008. I have obtained my MRCP in 2006 and later Completed my 3-year GP vocational training in UK and obtained MRCGP in Aug 2011. I am currently working at The Medical Centre in Nottingham since July 2013 as GP Principle. I undertake a full range of GP services including contraceptive advice, Implanon/coil fittings, joint and soft tissue injections, baby clinics and minor surgery.

I have keen interest in teaching and training, I completed MMEd from Nottingham University in 2012 and I am a GP trainer for Medical Students from Nottingham University and we are Approved training practice for Foundation year doctors.

I have achieved Medco Mandatory Accredited training on 7 May 2016. Being a GP, On the regular basis I see patients involved in road accidents, spinal injuries, head injuries, soft tissue and whiplash injuries and other traumatic and non-traumatic problems I regularly see clients involved in RTA, work accident, slip and trips and industrial accidents suffering from Soft tissue and Non Soft tissue injuries.

Currently, in my capacity I provide medico-legal reports on a regular basis. I am also able to comment on low velocity impact (LVI) incidents as I have studied the relevant literature, have experience and good understanding of the concept of Delta V.

All my consulting suits have access for parking, privacy and access to chaperone if needed following best practice and guidance as set my Medco for consulting venues. Under the current COVID-19 circumstances, for the safety of everyone and following Government and MedCo guidelines, I am offering remote video appointments for my medico-legal clients.

Appointment booking procedure:

All of my consulting rooms are private, fixed and suitable for medico-legal consultations. To reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 virus, I am offering remote consultation appointments to clients. I can offer video appointments through WhatsApp, FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, Google or through any other secure platform as per the client’s needs. I can offer weekend or evening appointments in some of my venues too. I am following the Government guidelines and will start face to face appointments when it is safe to do so.

Special Needs

All of my consulting locations have disabled access and have parking facilities. I always want the best customer services experience for my clients. If you need any special assistance for your appointment, please do let my secretary know about this at the time of arranging the appointment.

Turnaround time:

I do offer evening appointments. For the remote appointments, the waiting time is 3 days. On the normal circumstances, for the face-to-face appointment, the waiting time is between 1 to 2 weeks. Medical reports and any amendments are submitted within 3 days. Any other queries will be responded within 48 hours of receipt.

I strictly adhere to all the procedures and policies set by MedCo and always follow GMC good medical practice guidelines for examining my clients.
